Physical Therapy
Physical therapy is a service provided to patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
Our therapists are a team of certified and licensed professionals that are trained in many different treatment modalities. They care for you with compassion, respecting and supporting your desire to return to the activities in life that are important to you.
On your first visit a complete evaluation will be done. Evaluations consist of measuring a patient’s joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, functional ability, muscle tone and reflexes, appearance and stability of walking, need and use of braces and artificial limbs, integrity of sensation, performance of activities required in daily living, and developmental activities.
Following evaluation is the development of an individualized treatment plan carried out by the physical therapist or physical therapy assistant. Individualized treatment plans are developed to meet each patient's specific recovery needs and goals. Our therapists work with you to help relieve pain, improve strength, and regain your range of motion, coordination and balance.
