Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center is pleased to join in celebrating National Health Information Week, October 8-12, 2018. Healthcare information technology has become increasingly advanced over the last decade or so, with its ever-growing range of capabilities. Healthcare IT has evolved into a digital healthcare infrastructure responsible for collecting, managing, and integrating the large volume of clinical, financial, and operational information generated daily by today’s healthcare system, enhancing the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.
