Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center Recognizes Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center joins in the National Hospice and Palliative Care Month recognition this November to recognize our Palliative Care Coordinator Michelle Camarda, FNP-C, and all the excellent care she provides to our inpatients who choose to go on palliative care. Camarda provides decision-making support combined with emotional support that patients and families need most when facing a serious illness or end of life. She also assists with the completion of Medical Orders for Life-sustaining Treatment (MOLST) forms and Advance Directives as honoring patient preference is a critical element in providing quality end-of-life care.
