Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center to Offer Childbirth Classes

Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center will be providing a free childbirth class to offer help to new moms. The class will be held on January 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Medical Center’s Hess Auditorium. To register, call 315-713-5251. The class will be facilitated by a certified childbirth educator.

At Claxton-Hepburn, childbirth education doesn’t end when your baby is born—it continues all the way through your baby’s first year to help ensure that your new family gets off to the best start possible. We’re here to help you prepare for labor and delivery, and we’ll show you how to prepare and care for your newborn. The class will also provide expectant mothers with information about Claxton-Hepburn’s Birthing Center and information on what to expect during your stay. Mom’s support person is encouraged to attend.
