Every Valentine’s Day, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center’s Food Service Department receives handmade Valentines from Heuvelton Central School Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students to put on patient meal trays over the holiday. Over 50 handmade valentines were created by the students, and Heuvelton School teacher, Mrs. Nancy Wilson-Mashaw coordinates the yearly event. Shown in the photo with Steve Hawes, director of food services at Claxton-Hepburn, are Mazden Ladouceur, Jordan Blevins, Emalyn Peccolo, Avery Sheppard, Coty Ethridge, and Andrew Kearns. Your tomorrow is worth defending.
