Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center joins in the national celebration of CRNA week, January 19-25, 2020, to recognize our CRNA Kristi-Ann Lyga. CRNAs are the primary providers of anesthesia care in rural America, enabling healthcare facilities in these medically underserved areas to offer obstetrical, surgical, pain management, and trauma stabilization services. CRNAs practice in every setting in which anesthesia is delivered: traditional hospital surgical suites and obstetrical delivery rooms, critical access hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, physician and dental practices, the U.S. military, Public Health Services, and Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare facilities. We are proud to have Kristi-Ann Lyga, CRNA, providing excellent and safe anesthesia care for our patients. Your tomorrow is worth defending.
