Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center (CHMC), a proud member of the North Star Health Alliance, is thrilled to announce the arrival of Dr. Robert S. Davidson to our esteemed surgical and cancer care teams. As the only surgical oncologist serving the North Country, Dr. Davidson brings a wealth of expertise and experience, marking a significant addition to our healthcare community.

Driven by his commitment to excellence in oncology, Dr. Davidson completed two prestigious fellowships—one at the National Cancer Institute in Houston, TX, and the other at Roswell Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY. As a board-certified surgical oncologist through the American Board of Surgery, he specializes in a wide range of cancer surgeries, with a particular focus on breast, melanoma, and colon cancers. Dr. Davidson is also proficient in the latest robotic surgery techniques, ensuring patients receive advanced and precise care.

Reflecting on his approach to patient care, Dr. Davidson emphasizes "I believe optimal patient outcomes are achieved through multidisciplinary teamwork, where every healthcare team member plays a vital role. Dr. Daniel Kyung

Dr. Daniel Kyung is a highly skilled and experienced physician specializing in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Board-certified in both fields, he brings a wealth of expertise and experience to his practice. Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Kyung is dedicated to providing personalized care to a diverse range of patients.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kyung has been recognized for his commitment to excellence. He received the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2017 and a Letter of Commendation for Outstanding Patient Care from the University of California, Irvine in 2020. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Kyung is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Hematology. He is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care to his patients, guiding them through their journey with expertise and empathy.
